PERRY, WALTER DAVY; E. 91 from the Model Sch., Toronto; aged 15-2; L. December ’01; son of Mrs. R.D. Perry, Toronto; Stock Farming. Enlisted 18th Bn,. C.E.F., Capt.; raised his own Coy.; O.S.; France; in trenches nearly a year; gassed and sent to London, England. ret’d from O.S.; discharged.
Capt. W.D. Perry, of Mitchell who assisted in organzing “G” Company of the Twenty-Eighth Regiment has been appointed captain of “D” Company of the Eighteenth Battalion. He is now at headquarters in London, and expects to have his men in good shape shortly. He was a member of the Forty-Eight Highlanders for 10 years.
