Bartlett, William Taylor — Lieutenant. Born 31st March, 1897, at London, Ontario, Canada. Father, Phillip Henry Bartlett, Barrister. Educated at Princess Avenue School and London Col- legiate Institute. Entered the service of the Bank, 2nd October, 1913. Enlisted, 13th December, 1915, from London, Ontario, branch, in 70th Canadian Battalion, with the rank of Lieutenant. Transferred to 18th BattaUon, in France, 27th September, 1916. Principal actions: Vimy Ridge, Arleux and Fresnoy, 1917. Wounded in the arm and head, 28th May, 1917, at Fresnoy.
