3205605 [conscripted regimental number]  Second attestation to 1st Depot Battalion, Alberta Regiment on January 7, 1918 at Calgary, Alberta.  Does not appear to be a conscription.  Prior military shown as 18th Battalion with discharge because of “severe F.P.”?  Birthdate is now September 12, 1897 as he would have been underage in the 1914 enlistment.  Birthplace is now Clover Bar, Alberta instead of Luxemburg (sic) – must be wrong.  Attestation says “Recruit First Depot Battalion – Examination for reclassification”

Note that there have been more than one case of 18th Battalion members who fought and served in Europe and then repatriated to Canada during the war only to have them re-engaged with the Canadian Military establishment through the Conscription Act of 1917.
