— With the enlistment of Samuel Polley of Stratford, in the 64th Battery, six sons of Mr. David Polley had donned the khaki. Charles was killed at Langemarck, Harry is with the 18th Battalion. In the trenches, Joseph is Sergt.-Major in the 34th, Albert is a member of the 110th Perth Battalion. David is in the British army in England, and now Samuel had joined the artillery. The father himself, who is a veteran of the British Army, had been repeatedly refused admission to the army owing to his age, but is making munitions.
