PTE. W.T. Freeman

Killed in action. He enlisted here in the 18th Battalion. His brother lives at 355 Simcoe Street. He was farming at Mt. Elgin when he enlisted. His parents live in England

Son of Frederick Thomas and Susan Sophia Freeman, of Thornton Heath, Surrey, England.

“Died of Wounds” He was severely wounded by enemy shell fire on April 9th, 1917. After being attended to he was taken to No. 6 Casualty Clearing Station, where he succumbed the next day.
